Comedian Vir Das has tested positive for Covid-19. He says he has mild coronavirus symptoms and has self-isolated at home. Being a comedian himself, every situation is an opportunity for a joke, as is his confinement to a room. Vir Das joked that he plans to take up embroidery during his quarantine days. He took to Instagram to share his diagnosis and wrote: “It’s true I tested positive for Covid-19. Mild symptoms. Body aches and sore throat. Isolated at home. Had only been in contact with two people in the past month and luckily they both tested negative.

With so much time on hand and three pillows and a comforter around him, Das says he plans to embroider. He said, “Now I’m in a room. I have three pillows and a duvet. I am seriously considering embroidery. Depending on how long it takes, I can end up without duvets and 6 pillows, or like 2 duvets. If I had to choose a market, I would choose duvets rather than pillows, which are more exclusive. Almost everyone has a pillow they love. Not everyone has a nice duvet.
