Gujarat Handicrafts Exhibition at Shilparamam June 2-12

Hyderabad: Gujarat is well known for its arts, crafts, crafts, cuisine and culture. The people of Hyderabad will soon have the opportunity to learn more about their culture as the city is hosting Gujarat Handicrafts Exhibition “Gujarat Hastakala Haath” in Shilparamam, Madhapur from June 2-12.

Artisans from Gujrat will showcase their handicrafts, providing a marketing platform for traditional live artworks. Apart from the artworks, popular puppet shows Kachchi Ghodi, Ras Garbha and other activities will be held to entertain visitors.

Traditional Patola/Gujrati shawl weaving, Kutchi embroidery, Arjakh block printing, tie & dye (Bandhej) and Zari-Zardosi works in dresses will be showcased and traded by artisans. Besides beadwork, wooden, metal artwork, jewelry, accessories, nail paint, furniture and leatherwork will be exhibited for interior decoration.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Industrial Extension Cottage (Indext-C), Government of Gujarat, is organizing the exhibition.
