Here’s how to crochet hexagon flower patterns
Gather your supplies:
The yarn used in this pattern is Patons Cotton Blend 8 ply 50g:

You will also need a 4.5mm crochet hook.
Tension: The hexagon flower pattern measures 12cm in diameter from stitch to stitch, using a 4.5mm crochet hook.
Check your voltage carefully as measurements and quantities listed for all items are based on this voltage.
If the design is more than 12 cm in diameter, use a smaller hook, if it measures less, use a larger hook.
Hexagon flower pattern
Using a 4.5mm hook and the same color for rounds 1 and 2 (see color chart below for color inspiration), ch 4 and finish with a sl st in the 1st ch to form a ring.
1st round: Ch2 (counts as 1st htr), 9htr in a ring, sl st in 2nd ch at beg…10htr.
2nd round: Ch 2, 1htr in same st as sl st, 2htr in each htr until finish, using next color, sl st in 2nd ch at beg…20htr.
3rd round: 1ch, 2dc in same st as sl st, 1dc in next htr, * 2dc in next htr, 1dc in next htr, repeat from * to end, using next color, sl st in first sc… 30dc .
4th round: ch 4, 1tr in same st as sl st, 1tr in next sc, ch 3, * 1tr in next sc, ch 3, 1tr in next sc, 2tr in each of next 2tr, 1tr in next sc, ch 3, rep from * to last 3dc , 1sc in next sc, ch 3, 1dc in next sc, 2dc in last sc, using next color, sl st in 4th ch from beg.
5th round: 4ch, miss 1dtr, 1dc in next dtr, 1ch, 1tr in next dc, 1ch, 1dc in next dtr, 1ch, miss 1dtr, 1tr in next dtr, 2ch, * 1tr in next dtr, 1ch, miss 1dtr, 1dc in DB ch 1, 1 tr in next tr, ch 1, 1 tr in next tr, ch 1, miss 1 tr, 1 tr in next tr, ch 2, rep from * at the end, sl st in 3rd 4 ml at the start. Attach.

Follow the instructions for the first hexagon flower pattern above.
Using the colors shown in the flower color chart below, make 4 D colors and 3 colors of each other for a total of 25 designs.
Join and tie the ends
Using the 4.5mm hook and the Fresh Green ch 30cm.
1st row: Miss 1 ch, 1 sc in each ch until finished, with right side of a pattern D facing, * work 2 sc in any corner sp, 1 sc in each st to next corner sp, 2 sc in sp corner, repeat from * along the top edge of the remaining repeats in order (E, A, F, C, H, B, G then D) 3 more times, ch 30 more , round, work 1 sc in each ch until pattern, sl st in final sc at edge of pattern. Attach. Sew the ends.
