Our company needs highly trained knitting technicians to optimize the efficiency of our plant and equipment. The role will report to the Plant Manager.
We are looking for candidates to join our team with high levels of experience as a technician on WEFT or WARp knitting machines. Experience in manufacturing hosiery items such as socks or compression stockings would be highly desirable.
Your new role
Our company requires a highly skilled knitting technician/mechanic to optimize the efficiency of our plant and equipment.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, your new role will consist of:
– Diagnose and correct fabric defects or knitting machine failures
-Setting up the knitting machine and switching to different or new products
– Carry out preventive maintenance and overhaul of machines
-Product optimization to improve yield, product quality and part life
– Keep detailed and accurate records of work performed
– Assist the research and development team in setting up and manufacturing new products
– Compliance with HACCP, GMP, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Environment standards
