Katie Holmes’ Slouchy Crochet Set Is The Perfect Summer Piece

Katie Holmes’ latest red carpet look proves that crochet pieces will be a wardrobe staple this season.

By attending the premiere of alone together At the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, the actress opted for an ivory white tank top and flared long silk from Chloé’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection. The unique set, made of wool and silk, was produced by hand with crochet and knitting expertise and took approximately 180 hours to complete.

She finished the look with minimal accessories, including a chunky gold chain necklace, a gold bracelet and a tan leather clutch with braided details also from Chloe.

Holmes’ boyfriend, musician and producer Bobby Wooten III, joined her on the red carpet. He looked suave in a collarless white shirt, black jacket, olive green pants and black dress shoes.

The couple first went public with their relationship when they attended The Moth’s 25th anniversary gala last month. There they settled on the red carpet for another fashionable appearance.

Holmes looked elegant in a bright orange ruffled dress by Jonathan Simkhai, with a high neck and puff sleeves. Accessories included black strappy heels, gold earrings and an art deco handbag. Meanwhile, Wooten looked cool in a dark teal suit with black accents, designed by Paul Smith.

Holmes has already spoken to BAZAAR.com on her personal style when she’s not on the red carpet.

“I love my t-shirts and I love my vintage t-shirts. They’re so delicious,” she said. “They’re a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that’s me.”
