“Amigurumi is the Japanese art form of making dolls through knitting or crocheting. I wanted to learn crochet for a little while, but only knew it as something you made scarves and hats – it wasn’t until a deep Google dive that I realized dolls could be made!”

What was the first project you did?

“My main motivation to start making amigurumi was to create Pokémon! My first project was a Squirtle and there was really a lot of love in it.”
